Healthy Habits for Surviving "Sick Season"

It’s Tuesday and I am back again with the “Tea” for the week. I want to start this post off by thanking everyone who read my very first Tea Talk post. I am so glad you guys enjoyed it and it was beneficial for everyone. For several days this week I was out of commission and I didn’t get to blog as planned. However, I still have a Tea Tip for you guys! I want to remind you of how important it is to stay healthy during "Sick Season."

With my busy lifestyle, I can not afford to get sick. Every day, every minute, every second counts, literally! I was a tad bit disappointed because I felt like I was wasting time being sick in bed. Then I realized that I need to relax and focus on taking care of my well-being. So here are my quick tips for this week!

1. Make sure you are taking your daily vitamins! I used to not take vitamins every day, and when I started taking them I noticed a difference, especially in my energy level. I now take The Mane Choice “Manetabolism” pills. Even though they are specifically hair pills, they are good for your everyday multivitamin as well. (Do your research before getting any vitamins by the way and check with your doctor.)

2. Exercising at least 30 minutes a day! I stopped exercising before Thanksgiving because the holidays happened. Lol. As a result, I’ve noticed how sluggish I have gotten. Even if it is something as minor as running the treadmill for a bit or doing your daily ab circuit, make sure you are doing something!

3. Last but not least, get some REST! After these past couple of days, I realized how important it was to rest. Take a chill pill, Yvette! Personally, if I don’t get enough sleep, I start to feel sick and I get irritable. Nobody wants to be around someone who is cranky either. It is very important that we get at least 7 hours of sleep every night so we are well rested.

Staying healthy is important for everyone! No matter what you are doing with your everyday life, do not overlook the health aspect of life. If you are looking for a fashion or beauty post, they are coming. Don't forget to subscribe to my blog to stay updated on my latest blog post. I will be back to my regular schedule blog post ASAP! Thank you again for supporting and have a healthy day! ;-)

XoXo,
